Session 1: An Introduction to Effective Grow Your Own Programs

Strengthening & Diversifying the Teacher Workforce Through Effective and Sustainable Grow Your Own Strategies: Professional Learning Series For SEA, LEA, & GYO Program Leaders

State and local education leaders, along with other leaders of Grow Your Own programs, are invited to join the first of a three-part Learning Series on what is known about effective Grow Your Own programs, including strategies for scaling and sustaining effective programs. Jason Greenberg Motamedi, senior researcher at Education Northwest, will open the session with an overview of the different types of Grow Your Own programs. The session will also highlight several effective Grow Your Own programs followed by facilitated breakout conversations for attendees to share information, resources, and learn from each other.
